My brick is red?

I never realized how dirty the brick on my fireplace was until I decided to clean them. I bought a spray cleaner that removes soot and creosote. It was pretty easy, though a little messy and a lot of elbow grease. You wet the brick, spray on the cleaner, scrub the brick with a scrub brush, and drench in water until the cleaner is washed away. My brick went from brown/black to red! It is so amazingly beautiful! It is almost like having a new fireplace!
